There has been a lot of information and misinformation going around and surrounding Hemp and or CBD. So, what the Hemp is really going on?
The family name is Cannabis, and falling under this is the Marijuana plant and the cousin, the Hemp plant. Marijuana contains a large amount of THC and a small amount of CBD (Tetrahydrocannabinol- causes the sensation of getting “high” that’s often associated with marijuana). However, unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive. Hemp contains a large amount of CBD and only trace amounts of THC. You cannot get high from ingesting hemp.
